Learn to carry out procedures to be proud of
Would you like to get up in the morning and really look forward to work? Would you like to plan your hours to suit yourself? Would you like to make people happy and give them confidence about how they look?
Becoming a Permanent Make-up Specialist could be the job for you.
Perhaps you have already taken a training course and don’t have the confidence to work in the profession, I can help you take those final steps.
How does my course work?
I offer a very personal training programme and will work with you at your own pace. Theory is learned in relaxed surroundings, followed by professional practical applications. Plenty of parking outside means you can drive right to the door of the training school and if driving is a problem there is a main line railway station nearby.
Theory includes:
- Health & safety
- Allergies and contra indications
- Structure of the skin & skin tones
- Understanding pigments
- Understanding colours
- Treatments with different needle configure
Practical work on clients will include:
- Eyebrow procedures which includes choosing colours and drawing on balanced brows.
- Eyeliner
- Lip procedures
Day 1
On day 1 we will work through the theory and I will carry out a demonstration on a client so you can see the technique used for brow hair strokes. You will also practise different pigmentation application strokes with different needle combinations on fake skin.
Day 2
On day 2 you will practise what you have learned for eyebrow techniques under my guidance.
Here Maria is confidently carrying out her first eyebrow technique. The final result was a very happy client.
Days 3 & 4
On days 3 & 4 you will practise eyeliner, lip liner and lip blush techniques. Theory knowledge is put to good use during the practical sessions.
Here Maria works with ease on eyeliner and lip liner with lip blush procedures and in both cases the client was extremely pleased with the results
Correct techniques are taught so you work safely and with good results and practical procedures are carried out until you feel ready to work on your case studies.
Maria purchased a complete Precision Plus diploma kit containing high quality equipment and products from Finishing Touches to use on completion of this course but it is not compulsory. You will, however, need equipment and products to carry out your final case studies in order to take your final assessment and receive your validated Diploma in order to practise. Advice will be given on suitable equipment and products. It is not advisable to just purchase cheap equipment from the internet as it is not always fit for purpose and I have known cases where contact could not be made with a company in order to secure a refund. It is also important that pigments are purchased from a reputable source to ensure quality.
Maria left the training room fully prepared to work on her own clients.
“Brilliant training with Sonia for SPMU. Very relaxed teaching and I came away feeling very confident an knowledgeable. Thank you xx”
By training with me Holistic Insurance Services have insured Maria for her training, her case studies and then finally as a qualified technician.
The clients were very pleased with her work
“Hi Sonia. Just a quick note to say how thrilled Marion and I are with the eyebrows. Please pass on our thanks to your student. She is very talented & we’re so happy”
…….and if Maria needs any help during her case studies or after she has qualified I will be at the end of the phone/text/email.
