What are the benefits of training with me?
I have been offering permanent make-up treatments for the past 15 years and training students in the art of permanent make-up for the past 9 years.
I am an independent trainer with teaching qualifications and experience of working and teaching in this industry. I am able to adapt my teaching methods to your learning style and this ensures that you leave the course knowledgeable and feeling confident and ready to work on your own. I ensure that you train on an adequate number of clients for eyebrow treatments, eyeliner treatments and lip treatments so that your clients receive a professional treatment from the very beginning.
2:1 training 1:1 training available on request
Course content:
Theory will be carried out prior to attending the practical course. This will be done with manuals and videos and include:
- Health & safety
- Allergies and contra-indications
- Structure of the skin & skin tones
- Understanding pigments
- Understanding colours
- Understanding different brow procedures
- Treatments with different needle configurations
- Brow mapping
4 days Practical work will be carried out for:
- Different Eyebrow procedures
- Eyeliner
- Different Lip procedures
After practising the techniques on fake skin you will work on a number of models. On completion of the course you will be expected to carry out 12 case studies, in your own time, with client consultation paperwork and treatment records + before and after pictures. Your case study portfolio with be presented to the academy and form part of the assessment process. Support will be given from the start of the course and will continue as long as it is needed.
Insurance
My training courses follow the National Occupational Standards set out by HABIA and are validated by Holistic Services Insurance and accredited with ABT Associated Beauty Therapists. Insurance cover is available from both companies for my courses.

Training Academy
The training academy is situated close to Biggleswade in Bedfordshire. It has ample private parking and for those who live too far to travel every day there is very reasonably priced local B&B. The nearest railway station is Biggleswade.

4 Day 2:1 Totally Brows Course: Semi Permanent make-up + Microblading (includes microblading kit value £275) £2,150
5 Day 2:1 Combined Training Course: Semi Permanent make-up + Microblading + pre course study only £2,300
Price for Equipment & Kit:
Prices do not include equipment and kit unless stated. Machines can be purchased from as little as £150 up to £3000. Advice will be given on equipment and kit purchases.

I have just completed my 4 day training with Sonia for Semi Permanent Make-up. I researched my training in depth and looked into a few big companies offering this training in London and Liverpool but was instantly drawn to Sonia’s passion for Semi Permanent Make-up. I am a hairdresser by trade and was worried that I would find the transition to this treatment difficult but Sonia made me feel comfortable straight away.
