Microblading courses for professionals

Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, is the manual method of cosmetic tattooing using a hand tool. Fine semi permanent hair strokes are created by depositing pigment under the skin to create natural looking eyebrows.

This is a comprehensive 2 day course covering the theory of microblading and the use of a microblading hand tool and blades.

The Professionals course is only available for fully qualified and practising Permanent Make-up Specialists. A copy of your certificate and insurance cover will be required to attend this course.

Training with me.

I am an independent trainer with teaching qualifications and experience of working and teaching in the cosmetic tattooing industry. The maximum number of students attending each course will be two. Because there are never more than two students, I have the time to give you all the attention you need and I am able to adapt my teaching methods to your learning style to ensure you leave the course confident in this technique. You will carry out practical drawing exercises, practise on fake skin and work on clients to perfect your technique.

Insurance

My training courses follow the National Occupational Standards set out by HABIA and are validated by Holistic Services Insurance and accredited with ABT Associated Beauty Therapists. Insurance cover is available on completion of this course.

Training Academy

The training academy is situated close to Biggleswade in Bedfordshire. It has ample private parking and for those who live too far to travel every day there is very reasonably priced local B&B. The nearest railway station is Biggleswade.

Course content:

Theory includes:

Health & safety
Allergies and contra-indications
Brow shapes
Different hair stroke patterns
Understanding different microblading tools and needles
Colour theory

Practical work will include:

Practical drawing exercises
Practise on fake skin
Eyebrow procedures on different clients.
Brow mapping

Diploma:

For those that reach the required standard, a diploma will be presented at the end of the course. Anyone that has not reached the required standard will be asked to carry out case students to submit for further assessment.
